About us

The New Zealand maritime industry needs qualified and experienced mariners to conduct Assessments to meet local and international requirements.

We offer Assessments and reviews on individuals and SMS systems to NZQA and Nautical Institute standards. Our Pilot Assessments are designed to meet the requirements of (NZ)MR90.

Our people are experienced Masters and Pilots with experience in world wide trade with a specific focus on SE Asia, Pacific, and Australiasn areas.

Our Pilots have served in NZ ports with experience ranging from local fishing vessels to 345m passenger ships, from small tonnage to cape size bulkies. from specialised offshore to panamax container vessels.

We have experienced Masters and senior navigating officers who can offer short term reliefs or assistance with deliveries or relocating vessels of any size.

We have current SOLAS qualifications up to Master Foreign Going (Master Class 1).

We also offer experienced Tug operators, both ASD and Voith, who can assist with reliefs and training.

Pilot Assessments

Deliveries - Coastal/International

We can assist with relocation of vessels - from specific crew members to delivery crews specialising in vessels ranging from local fishing and private yachts to tugs and larger SOLAS vessels anywhere in NZ or SE Asia.

Tug Master - Voith/ASD

Experienced Master of Voith and ASD tugs. We can assist with delivery, reliefs, and training/examination and periodic assessment of Masters and deck hands.
